Attendance Reward Breakfast

Beginning on Wednesday, students are working toward earning an attendance reward breakfast. The breakfast will be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30am in the JG band room. McDonald’s breakfast will be provided.

To earn entry to the breakfast, students must have zero unexcused absences and not be more than 5 minutes late to any rehearsal beginning on Wednesday, March 30 until Monday, May 9. This, however, is not giving students permission to be up to 5 minutes late! This is simply a buffer because I understand that things do come up where you may occasionally run behind schedule.

The goal is to encourage all students to attend all rehearsals and to be on time to all rehearsals. We have such a short amount of time until our performances, and it is essential that we start on time with all students present in order to have our best performance.

Reminder – Business Expo

This is a reminder about the business expo performance THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 2 at the Civic Center in McFerren Park.

Students should wear a Cornjerker t-shirt if they have one or a nice top if they don’t and jeans.

Percussion students should report to the band room at 9:00am to help load equipment.

All other band students should report to the Civic Center at 9:45am with their instrument and music.

This a required performance unless I receive notification in advance (email, note, phone call).
